Bath or shower? Which is more eco friendly?

Shower as it uses less water, provided you don't stay under it for too long of course. Also, you only heat the water you use and at a lower temperature than for a bath.Bath or shower? Which is more eco friendly?
Which ever one you are able to use less water in. A bath tub filled with a few inches is better than a long shower, however a full bath tub is worse than a quick shower. Time your shower and find out how much water comes out per minute to see how much water you are using. You can do the same for a bath.Bath or shower? Which is more eco friendly?
What you should do is take a shower with the drain clogged. If the water level gets higher than you would have got it if you were taking a bath, then baths are the answer. If not, then showers are.

I believe you will find that showers use less water, however.
A short shower is much better than a deep bath!

But... I sometimes have a 'thimble' bath - cause I can't face a shower!

I recon my thimble bath uses the same water as a shower, by thimble I mean just deep enough to sit in and have a quick wash :-)

Showers use less water than baths. I've plugged the drain and even when I take a slightly longer shower there still isn't much water in the tub.

By plugging the drain when you have a shower gives your feet a nice foot bath.
Eco friendly - shower

Me friendly - bath

Sorry folks but I just cant do without my bath, I hate the shower. I can unwind in the bath, but the shower seems like a chore to me.
my opinion is that it is better taking a bath then taking a shower cause when u take a shower a lot of water is wasted,so i believe to take a bath is much more eco friendly.

Showers usually use less water. It depends how long you shower for, though.
A normal length shower uses less water and leaves you cleaner than a bath.
Depends on the size of your bath, and on the time you take for a shower.
actually a bath uses less water than a shower does.
A shower

Unless of course you share a bath - like Fred Clark use to with me.
Shower but I take long showers so I guess I use the same amount of water.
It all depends on how long you spend in the shower.
