What year did the Romans introduce showers to their bath houses ?

This online paper (in Adobe Acrobat format) gives a bit of history of showering which includes the ';Greco-Roman shower-bath.'; The paper doesn't really speak to a separate introduction of showering in the baths. Rather it implies that water within the baths came pouring down from above creating a shower-like flow that people could stand under.

';Explaining showering: a discussion of the material, conventiaonl and temporal dimensions of practice'; by Martin Hand and Dale Southerton

Go to this web document and do a word search for ';Roman.'; This will bring up all the places where the Roman baths are discussed.

My best to you
