Is it smart to hang the bath mat after showering and drying off?

To let it air out? Or is it OK to just leave it on the floor of the bathroom wet? Remember in the Shining when that lady was in the bath tub?Is it smart to hang the bath mat after showering and drying off?
I hang mine up to allow it to dry and to help reduce the growth of germs/bacteria. Anyplace that is wet becomes the perfect breeding ground for bacteria and you should always do what you can to minimize that.Is it smart to hang the bath mat after showering and drying off?
Well, the only thing that will haunt you under your bath mat is mold, soap scum, and other filth that gets caught under it while you shower. Letting it dry will help reduce the bacteria and mold, but rinsing it off before laying it to dry will be more helpful in reducing the the filth and soap scum hiding on it as well.
Yes, for all healthful reasons - You keep away growth of harmful bacteria, you feel good when you next step on a non slippery/ clean and dry bath mat for your shower, you are guaranteed against injuries from accidental falls in the bathroom due to slippery bath mats
Its better to leave the mat on the floor alittle wet so as to ward off gremlins from living your shower.
